2010 Javelina 12 Hour Night Run


What: Javelina 12 Hour Night Run - A full moon night run on the 15.4 mile (25 kilometer) Pemberton Trail. Serves as an excellent "training run" for the Javelina Jundred! Not quite ready for the Javelina Jundred? Come experience the same course with excellent aid under the full moon one month prior to our signature event! Complete 25km, 50km, 75km or 100 kilometers. Fully stocked aid stations every 7.5 miles. All participants will receive a shirt and are invited to hang out at the trail party at the trail head after the run.

Walkers and hikers are welcome!

When: Saturday, September 25th to Sunday, Sept. 26th, 2010; 6pm to 6am. Check-in begins at 4:30pm.

Registration: Register online through Ultrasignup.com or by mail-in entry

Cost: $40 by May 31st; $50 by Aug 31st; $60 'til race day. (Race entry does not include a $6/vehicle park entrance fee)

Timing
We will be utilizing a chip timing system at this event. You will be provided with a timing chip, called the GoLoop, to attach to your shoe for the race. It is important to not bend, crease, or fold the GoLoop to insure your laps are read. If you plan to wear gaiters, do not place them over the timing chip. When you complete your race, please return the GoLoop as it will be reused in other races. Please review the following instructions for attaching the GoLoop:

Details: The Javelina 12 Hour Night Run will now be supported with fully stocked aid every 7.5 miles, a race t-shirt, timed results, and a trail party at Javelina Jeadquarters! Come out and run 25, 50, 75, or 100 kilometers as training for the Javelina Jundred, or just to enjoy the beauty of the desert under the full moon! Please note: partial laps will not be recorded.
